Hi guys! Can any of you recommend a good music maker? If it is free too, I'll be glad. I also want it to be safe and legal.

Can you explain what you mean by 'a good music maker'? What I suspect you want is known as a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). There are loads available such as Cubase, Reaper and many others that you can search for online. Some people use Audition, but that is mainly for recording and editing your own music tracks from scratch. Whilst a DAW will have MIDI functionality and include soft synths for reproducing instrumental sounds.

What do you think of Magix Music Maker? Have you heard of that?

Also can you give me the link to the websites of Reaper and Cubase?

Since I am a moderator on the Magix forums(!), yes I have heard of MusicMaker, and yes, I have it on my PC.  It is predominantly a software for creating music using proprietary (i.e. designed for and by Magix for its own software) "instruments" (digital samples) and "soundpools" (musical phrases, loops etc.)  If you'd like to hear examples of work created by other users of the software I would recommend visiting the  Media area of the MAGIX Community .

The website for Reaper, which is rather more geared towards audio recording rather than the use/manipulation of loops etc is https://www.reaper.fm/

I actually also have and use Reaper.  Which of these two is more appropriate for your intended use only you can say.

Is the Magix Music Maker a DAW? Is it also free?

MusicMaker is not strictly a DAW.  You can record into it but it is much more geared towards loops and samples.

There is a free version but it is limited to 8 tracks and lacks the majority of the facilities available in the Premium version.

I love Magix Music Maker.

I don't use it professionally, but it is a tonne of fun.

Grab a loop (wind instruments - clarinet - jazz mystical - 2 bars, 120 bpm) and place it in your work zone. You can change the pitch, speed - other stuff. (I don't read manuals, so I probably only use about 10% of the programs features)

pretty easy to get started.
