Hi,
I'm hoping someone can explain this odd behaviour to me - basically when exporting a multitrack mixdown, if I have any muted tracks with effects assigned, the export time is, let's say 10mins for example. If I remove the effects of the muted tracks the export time is reduced to a couple of minutes. So Audition is still processing the effects on the muted tracks in the export! Why? Surely, Audition should 'see' that the tracks are muted, thus not required in the final mixdown, so ignore them...?
Thanks.

I believe that this has been mentioned as an issue before, but I have no idea what the current status of any fix for it is. A little checking is required...
Are you using the current release? Mac or PC?

Hi Steve,
I am using the current release (build 13.0.0.519) on a Mac (OSX 10.13.6) but I have noticed this behaviour ever since I began using Audition several years ago. I find it makes no difference if I mute the tracks and turn off the effects either. I literally have to remove the effect altogether for faster mixdown!
