My microphone audio is delayed compared to the camera

I record my videos with a Sony ZVE-10 at 24fps. And I use an external microphone. I used a Blue Yeti Nano, and it synced perfectly with my camera in post-production.

But recently, I replaced my microphone with a Shure MV7, and when I try to sync my audio, some parts of the audio are delayed, as if they were recorded at a different frame rate. I can't quite explain it.

The beginning syncs, but from the middle to the end, it's completely out of sync.

I really don't know if this is a setting I need to adjust. Can anyone help me? I searched on YouTube and couldn't find anything.

What equipment are you using to record the output of the Shure microphone?  And at what sample rate, not frame rate?  

Reading the spec of your camera I can see no reference to its audio sampling rate but I suspect it is 48kHz.  If you are also using an external audio recorder if it is set to any other rate then you can experience the problem you have.

However, one caveat: even if the external recorder is set to 48kHz, because it is not locked to the camera, audio drift can occur.  Depending on the video editing software you use, it is often possible to "resync" the external audio to the audio recorded by the camera.

As well as all of that, I have a question (because it's a Sony device, and they have form here): Have the recordings you made gone over a file boundary and continued in a new file? There are some Sony devices that get the join wrong, and manage in the next file to offset the audio by a few frames (and continue to do this with subsequent files as well). This is a royal PITA when it comes to synchronised post, as you have to unlink everything and join up the gaps.

Generally these days getting recorders to stay locked within a frame or so isn't that difficult, even if you don't sync them specifically - I do this regularly. But the act of simply changing just a microphone shouldn't alter the sync situation at all. So like emmrecs says, I think we need a little more detail...

I simply connect a USB cable to my PC and microphone and press record in Audition.

And it's 48 kHz (the mic). The strange thing is that my old Blue Yeti microphone had no problems with this. The audio syncs perfectly with the camera.

I use premiere to edit, but when I sync I notice the delay of the audio from the mic and the audio from the camera.

Could this be a problem with my microphone?

You might need to check that the mic isn't being resampled by the OS on the way in - it's perfectly capable of doing that.
