My sesx files don't open from containing folder, only open from the File/Open command within auditon

I downloaded the newest version of Audition (2020). When I double click or use Open With command from the folder window, nothing opens in audition 2020. If I use File/Open from within Audition, it opens fine. Why is this happening? Thanks for your advice.

Works fine here - you probably need to reset the 'open with' characteristics for the .sesx file. Right-click on one and go to Properties - you can change it here:

Hi Steve... Thank you for your reply and help. I checked the properties and it was already set to open with Audition 2020. I hit "change" to make sure and it was set to 2020 and it was. Even if I right click the sesx link and "open with" 2020, it still doesn't work.

When I upgraded from 2019, I had to manually delete Aud 2019 because it didn't delete when I upgraded to 2020 like it usually does. Could there be something leftover in the registry from 2019? Thanks again!

Steve... sorry for the late reply. I tried the cleaner and got rid of all Audition files. Then I downloaded a fresh version from Creative Cloud. But still the same problem persists. Are there any hidden folders with AA files in them that I should check? I assume I used the cleaner the correct way, but maybe I didn't. I followed all steps, but I'm not familiar with registry issues. Thanks for the help.
