Nasal air squeak - any way to edit it out in post? (noise reduction)
We brought in a new voice actor for a studio recording. He is a singer but had never done voiceover work. Even double micing him (416 and TLM 103), trying every manner of angle and positioning, we could not help but pick up these weird nasal squeaks (almost like nasal "farts" heh). If he held his nose, they disappeared. I've never seen nasal sounds this loud before, and no matter what he did or what we did, they were littered through our recording.
So far, I can't get them out, no matter what I do in post.
Anyone have experience with getting these out in post in Audition? Or through any other means?
I attached a brief clip of it via dropbox. The recording is in Japanese, and the first one is on the TLM103, then the 416, then a separate clip from the 416 with a slight variation of the nasal sound.
