I am the audio engineer in a tv/video production studio. We have been recording our audio with Audition for a while now. Lately we have been shooting shows that need to be put together in post rather than live or with minimal edits. We are hoping to be able to continue recording multitrack in Audition with timecode that is sync'd to our cameras. Can Audition do this and if so what hardware would I need? (currently recording on a Mac Pro but can switch to PC if necessary)

There's nothing technically to stop Audition recording LTC as long as you can get it into a spare channel on your sound device for getting it in and out. It's also worth noting that if you have timecode embedded into your video, Audition can read and display that as well. So the answer really is 'it depends...' - mainly on how your recordings are set up, and how timecode is integrated into your production suite.
