Hello, I'm trying to record music... however, the microphone doesn't seem to work.
The red light on the USB flashes when it is, connected, or working.
I don't know which settings to put or what to do please help!
The red light is currently flashing but nothing is working??
It is getting frustrating because YouTube videos just show reviews and how to set it up but, these tutorials do not seem to be working with their settings.

Could you provide the link to the YouTube tutorials so we can see what they are telling you to do to set up the mic for recording? I suspect that the problem lies with the fact that the NW-7000 doesn't have a headphone output available on it. Audion expects USB audio interfaces to provide both an input and output which this mic doesn't seem to do. Your Audition default playback device and master clock are selected to be your built in Realtek device.
In order to record Audition needs the NW-7000 to be the Master Clock for recording. So try seeing if you can select that in the Master Clock box. If you can't do that then you have a problem because you are trying to use two different audio interfaces at the same time. If this is the case the only option is to try using ASIO4All which may allow you to select different devices for input and output. But it isn't completely straight forward to set up.

These are the links, the last video showed me that option you said ASIO, but my Audition doesn't give me this option
it says MME and WASAPI
The default input in this picture is the same as Master Clock
I changed the Sample Rate to match as these videos suggested, before it was 44100/48000 and wasn't working...
I just bought Adobe Audition this morning so I'm assuming it is the newest update...
Please tell me my alternatives, I really wanted to record today..
This is what I selected, the microphone isn't actually displaying any sound, I don't know where these sound levels come from...
I selected the option in Stereo, the options in Mono...nothing

You won't have any ASIO drivers since they only come with external USB audio interfaces. They aren't usually provided with USB Mics. Secondly I suspect that the meter display that you are seeing is because you have the Input monitoring button activated, the orange I icon. This is causing a feedback situation somehow in your system. Make sure that it is turned off for the moment.
Now there have been some recent discussions on the internet about the latest Win 10 update causing audio inputs to stop working due to a new Privacy setting in Windows that turns off any microphones. Re: HELP!! MME device internal error... post #15 may have the answer.
