New to Audition - imported files disappear when I re-open it

Hi There

I'm very new to Adobe Audition, but I edit video using Premiere.  I'm looking to edit some sound to video using the Multitrack feature of Audition. Premiere is unable to work coherently with multiple layered audio clips with various effects on them. I want to make audio collages for my films, but every time I reopen Audition all the sound files that I have imported into the project haven't saved. Is this a glitch or the way it works? I imagine the former and I was hoping someone could shed some light on this.

Thanks

Jack

We will need to know a bit more about exactly what you are doing to import your audio files and also how and where you are saving your session file, which is what keeps track of which files are used in a session.

LATEST

Also you need to make sure that you're using the latest release of both Audition and Premiere - using incompatible versions has been known to cause difficulties in the past. You have to bear in mind that the transference aspect of both programs is still a work in development. That's not actually a problem as such, but as I said, you do have to keep the versions in sync to keep everything working as it should.
