Hey Audition CC users, today we released an update with some cool new stuff. Thought I'd share with y'all directly.  Blog post and demo video at Audition CC: Our Fall, 2018 release is all about TIME | Creative Cloud blog by Adobe

Auto-ducking: Part of the Essential Sound panel, automatically generate dynamic keyframes to reduce the levels of music clips when dialogue or other elements are audible. It's easy to use, just adjust sensitivity, reduction, and fade parameters to build the keyframes. Once enabled, it continues updating while you record, edit, or move clips around. And you can let it do the work of making all those keyframes, then make manual adjustments as you like.

Timecode Overlay: When recording ADR or VO to video, the session timeline doesn't always match the embedded timecode of the reference scene. The Video panel can now display overlaid session or media timecode with options for size and placement.

Multitrack Clip enhancements: Stacked clips on a single track lock their height-order by default, so you won't lose overdubs, punch-ins, and other layered clips when clicking a clip further back. Holding OPTION/ALT while dragging a clip fade will adjust the opposite fade symmetrically. Holding SHIFT while dragging a fade will either lock the fade duration (up/down) or the fade curve (left/right.)

Smart Monitoring: When recording punch-ins, monitor the original audio in headphones during the run-up to the selection to match cadence, speed, and other elements of a performance, switch to input monitoring isolated while recording the dub, then back to the source audio after passing through the selection.

Dynamics effect: A new effect offers very simple controls for Autogate, Compression, Expansion, and Limiting. This replaces and updates a deprecated, legacy Premiere Pro plug-in that was very popular.

Mackie HUI support:  Use practically any modern control surface via the Mackie HUI protocol.

UI and Performance improvements: Mixdowns, bounces, and effect renders should be up to 400% faster than the last version. Centered-scrolling should be smarter (no more playing through a view before centering) and faster (better waveform and clip updates while scrolling.)

Several odds & ends: Modify waveform channel labels, Improved surround panning channel isolation, and a bunch more I'm forgetting.
