With the latest update of Audition, my Sophos Anti Virus doesn't allow Audition to open Multi track... is anyone else having this issue and what have you done about it?
Thanks
I've had to roll back two or three versions of update to get it to do Multi Track without triggering the anti virus of the college network.

Have Sophos on both machines here, with Advanced Protection activated for all the Adobe stuff. And no bother with it at all. You might need to go through the Sophos settings to see if anything's been blocked, although this seems rather unlikely

I get this error

is there a place to see exactly what it might be taking exception to?

My IT dept says "roll back to the previous version"   which works, but not how life is designed to work..

thanks

I have no idea where that has come from. Could you try excluding Audition from Sophos scans?

I missed this post before I made my own, but you are not alone. Exact same thing happening here with Sophos and Audition 24.2.

So, I'm not sure what my IT department has done,   but they reached out to sophos and got a checklist of some options to try and we have done them and it has worked (so far) ...    My IT guy that assisted me and accomplished this is out till tomorrow, I have asked him for specifics and when I get them, I'll pass them along

thanks!

Here is the remedy from my IT department.   hope it helps

To stop detecting an exploit, do as follows:

  1. Go to Devices > Computers or Servers, depending on where the application was detected.
  2. Find the computer where the detection happened and click it to view its details.
  3. On the Events tab find the detection event, and click Details.
  4. In Event details, look for Don't detect this again and select an option:

    • Exclude this Detection ID from checking. prevents this detection on this application. It adds an exclusion for the Detection ID associated with this specific detection. If the same behavior occurs again on your estate, this doesn't trigger a detection. However, if the behavior is different, for example different paths or files, the Detection ID is different and requires a separate exclusion.
