No audio exported

I am trying to make a podcast in Audition, and I recorded a test. Everything seems fine, but when I export, I get an empty clip without any sound. What could be the problem?

That screen grab of the clip - is that before or after you did the export?

If you are exporting from that Multitrack it doesn't look like anything has been recorded to that clip?

I found the problem: I had to increase the volume and that solved it! Thank you for your help anyways!

you have to set the output to mix
