No Sound in Waveform v12.0

I'm working in the multitrack file and switched to waveform to use the noise reduction process. That was working fine. Then all of sudden, I went back to waveform and there is no audio. There is audio in multitask only. Help??

I'm using a MAC- High Sierra

Check your Audio Hardware settings in Audition's preferences. Although it is unusual for one view to stop playing whilst the other still works OK. Is the playhead moving even if you are not hearing the sound out of your computer?

Yes the playhead is moving and its only the 2 tracks I was editing. I recorded a track and that plays in waveform.

When you did your noise reduction, you didn't have a check in the 'output noise only' box, did you?
