Noise Reduction Issue - Noise Still There At The End of Phrases?

After applying the default Noise Reduction, the noise is still very audible at the tail end of every phrase (spoken word). I'm not sure why the noise isn't being eliminated at those points. How can I get the Noise Reduction process to eliminate all noise, even the noise at the end of a phrase?
