Phrases being cut short

Hi there, For some reason I keep finding phrases in my narration being cut short. eg if it was that last phrase it might just sound like  'my narration being c/'   and the rest of the phrase has gone.

Any ideas? it is costing me a lot of time in rerecording sections.
