I want to be able to highlight a selection and play it, have it stop at the end and then when I hit play again I want it to start again and only play the selection. As it stands now when I hit play the second time it just plays the remainder of the audio file. But I don't want it to loop. I only want it to play the highlighted selection each time I press play. Any help?
This is, unfortunately, one of the things that's broken in the current release, but it's very likely that the forthcoming patch release will fix it. No, I don't have a date for that - you'll just have to wait! Hopefully it won't be long.

I discovered that setting the current-time indicator to exactly the beginning of the selection and tapping the space bar will play the selection from the beginning and stop at the end of the selection.
I discovered this serendipitously by setting a value in the current index number and tapping space.
Then I used that to figure out that you can tap "Ctrl+Left Arrow" to "Move current-time indicator to previous marker, clip, or selection edge" to get to the exact beginning of the selection. Then just tap the (Ctrl+Left Arrow, Space Bar) pair as often as you want to replay the selection over and over.
I'm doing this in Audition CS6.

This wasn't ever a problem with Audition CS6, as far as I'm aware, and has subsequently been rectified in later versions anyway.
