PLEASE HELP!! Audition not responding

Mac OS 10.15.7

Audition 2022

Problem has only recently started ... after opening a session (any session) I get trhe rainbow wheel of death and it doesn't go away. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and deteting cache files.

 

Any thoughts?

Initially, try deleting your Preferences file, which doesn't refresh when you reinstall. This is easy; restart Audition with the Shift key held down. If that doesn't work, then the next thing to look at is using the CC uninstaller (which can be downloaded here), to uninstall Audition, which gets rid of a lot of things you can't see to do with registration, etc, and then do a fresh install.

 

Also, I think that there should be a later version for you to install...
