Premiere Clip Export to Audition—No Audio Present

I'm trying to edit the audio from my Sony PXW-Z150.  It's 4k video with 4 channels of audio in a .mxf file.  It opens just fine in Premiere, but when I try to open the file in Audition there is simply no audio. The tracks are all there, but no audio is present. I have searched forums and found 1 post from 3 years ago dealing with this exact issue, but it was supposedly resolved with an Audition update at that time. I have tried copying the file and placing it in a new sequence but when I export to Audition, the same thing happens. Any help would be very appreciated.

[mod note: the identical question you asked in the old thread has been removed to save multiple replies and potential confusion. One instance of any question is sufficient!]

Steve I have not seen any responses over on the Premiere side. Is there anything else I can do? Thank you.

Only to report it as an Audition/Premiere bug perhaps.

Thank you, but I have never reported a bug. What is the official process?

I had a look on the Premiere forum to see if anybody else had reported any issues related to .mxf sound, and there seem to have been several; this isn't necessarily an Audition issue at all, and it may well be worth asking there as to whether anything is known...

The first thing to ask though is - are you using compatible, up-to-date releases of both Premiere and Audition? It's been noted before that round-trip operations are by no means guaranteed to be successful across different release versions.
