I create self-running PowerPoint instructional videos. I use Audition to edit the voiceover tracks for each slide. This week I noticed PowerPoint would no longer export a presentation to a video, something i've done countless times before. After a lot of troubleshooting I determined that slides that had audio files that were edited in Audition 14.2 were tripping up the export function. The soundfiles play just fine, but when exported, return a "PowerPoint could not finish creating video xxxxx.mp4. Do you want to try again?" error.
Has anyone else encountered this? I tried exporting the files as mp3 and .wavs--neither would let me export. Files that were edited in Audition before the latest upgrade work fine...
