Hi, my adobe audition stopped working one day and I can' open it anymore. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling it several times but I keep getting the error message attached. I also ran the adobe cleaner tool and restarted my computer. I also already tried uninstalling and reinstalling adobe creative cloud and whenever I reinstall adobe audition I keep getting the same error message. Can someone help? I really feel like I have exhausted all of my options here.

I'm assuming Windows here... By the looks of it, there's a fault in one of the C libraries that are used to run Audition. When the installer runs, if it finds that the necessary libraries are already there, it almost certainly won't try to reinstall them. Which is all fine and dandy until there's a fault in one of them, which it seems in your case that there is, which is why the entry point can't be found. I don't think that the cleaner tool will make any difference to this - it doesn't clean out C++ library files, just some of the extra entries in the registry.

I think it's the last entry in the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistibutable list in Control Panel>Programs and Features list that's likely to be causing the problem. This is the one that says 2015-2019 on it. If you right-click on the one marked (x64),  you get an option to 'change' it. If you select this, you'll find a 'repair' option, and this is the first thing to try. If by some chance Audition is using an earlier one (the 2013 one, for instance) the same thing applies - you can repair it the same way. You have nothing to lose by doing this, incidentally - this is a 'safe' repair. Anyway, try that first and see if it cures the problem.
