Hi everyone,
I am working on editing a bunch of videos and for whatever reason, I can no longer "capture noise print." I wasn't having any trouble before and now it has seemed to just stop working. I have tried restarting the program, my laptop, and updating the software. I don't believe the clips I'm trying select are too long and I don't think I'm doing anything differently from before when it was working. If anyone could provide me with some guidance, that would be greatly appreciated!! I am pretty stuck and can't seems to find any solutions.
Thank you!

It's greyed out permanently in Multitrack, but it's only greyed out in Waveform view if you haven't made a selection. If the selection is inappropriate (too short for the FFT size) then you'll get a warning, but it still won't be greyed out. The only other thing that might influence this is that somehow, your preferences folder has got screwed. The easy solution to fixing this is to start Audition with the shift key held down. But doing this will trash any settings you've made and saved as well - it just gets Audition back to its 'vanilla' state. Simply reinstalling doesn't do this, as the preferences folder isn't uninstalled from the previous installation.
