"Reading Windows Media Foundation"

Anyone try to open an OMF in Audition, only to get a window pop up that says "Reading Windows Media Foundation" and that it's going to take over 100 hours?

Is it the OMF causing this?  I've never seen this before, have no idea what it is.

    Can you send the OMF to audbugs@adobe.com? This likely means that our normal OMF importer failed to read the file and it is falling back to other importers (in your case, AmioMF aka "Windows Media Foundation") that get confused on the format.

      Couldn't send the OMF because of file size--which I think is the problem to begin with.  Can't believe I didn't check, but the OMF exceeded 2 gigs.  I'm going to try to split it in half and see if it works.

      Note - I have tried deleting the original OMF and re-exporting, only to have the problem repeat.
