Remove all clip effects

Hi all,

Is there a way to have more than one clip selected and then delete all of the clip effects associated with each individual clip in one go?

What seems to happen quite a lot is that I'll be adding the 'Volume' effect in Premiere Pro, if audio levels in a clip is too low. That's all good, however, once I import a Premiere Pro sequence containing a lot of these clips into Audition, it always comes up with an error message, as the 'Volume' effect isn't supported natively by Audition.

In Premiere Pro, there is a command that wipes all effects off a selected number of clips, however, I can't seem to find this for Audition. Could somebody point me into the right direction? That'd be great.

Hi,

such functionality does not yet exist in Audition.

However, you can choose to remove all Clip effects when doing the "Edit in Audition" workflow from Premiere Pro. Simply select "Remove All" next to "Audio Clip Effects" in the Edit Sequence in Audition Dialog.

Another solution to your particular problem would be to use the "Audio Gain" (right click a Clip in PrPro -> Audio Gain) instead of the Volume effect. That one should translate well to Audition.

Thanks a lot for letting me know about those other options Falk! I'll change my workflow from Premiere Pro to Audition accordingly.
