Remove popping sound in background

I have some recorded audio that has a reoccuring popping/knocking sound throughout. Is there any way to remove this? I have tried using the DeNoise effect as well as the Parametric Equalizer effect to no avail. MP3 file is attached. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
