ReWire Link Cannot Be Established in Waves Tune

When I open waves tune on adobe audition, it says "ReWire Link Cannot Be Established in Waves Tune". I used to use a windows pc, and it was working there, but I changed to a new mac, and it just says that. All my other waves plugins work, but it's just waves tune that has the problem. I tried finding solutions online, but I couldn't come across any recent solutions on the adobe audition. I'm using a 2020 M1 MacBook pro. Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

Audition hasn't used Rewire since version 3...

Yeah, I don't know what to do... Should I reinstall adobe audition or something? All my software updates are up to date.

That's Audition version 3, which isn't available any more. No version of Audition since that (and we're up to 14 now) supports Rewire at all. And there is nothing you can do about that, I'm afraid.
