Scarlett 2i2 is connected, but no audio is coming through to Audition.

I believe I have all my settings correct under Hardware, but there is no audio coming through to the program. As in no movement in the meters. I'm using a Mac, Scarlett 2i2, and a Shure SM7B. Even my computer shows the audio is connected and working, just not the Audition program.

If you want to record in Audition you need several things to be in place. If you have the device showing in your Hardware settings, then the other things you need to do are firstly, select the correct input for the track you want to record on - this is on the track itself; secondly to record-enable the track (red R button at the top of the track controls) and finally hit the transport Record button.

thanks for the reply but here's the problem. The green meter to the right, that's what won't show up no matter what I do. It just stays yellow at the bottom, first level.

Have you tried actually recording something following Steve's instructions?
