Hello!

Im new to adolbe audition so im not sure whether this is possible but i want to remove everything but a kind-of background in a song. The song is DPA by N.L.S the saga. I want to remove all vocals and base, so that only the melody thats played at the beggining remains. I looked into the song it is clearly playing below everything else.

If you have any clues or answers please pm me. Idk how this formu works, but just in case this is my email - [personal information removed - Adobe policy - Mod]

A couple of points: there's rather more than vocals and bass added; there's a kit and what sounds like handclaps in the background, and most of that bass sounds like a kick-drum. That's quite a lot to remove using Audition, and there is some specialist software around that might make a better job of it - but it's not cheap.

But the main point is - why do you need to do this? You already have a clean version of the background at the start of the song, and one thing that Audition is supremely good at is looping - with a bit of care, you could have that going on for ages without needing to eliminate anything, just by repeating the start section.

Hmm. Okay. I know about looping, and im working on it right now. I just thought that there might be a simpler option...

Thank you for your answer!

You could always try the remix option on the beginning of the track:

I was easily able to extend it to two minutes.

Sorry I also missed the bit in your original post where you said you were new to Audition.

Here's a couple of YT vids that may help with this 🙂

Scanning through thread -   yeah either loop instrumental portion or even easier -  go to youtube and search for song title + "instrumental  or karaoke"     then use this link to paste youtube link of video and download as mp3      https://ytmp3.cc/converter/
