Should I give up on this messy clip

Is there any hope for this messy recording, and should I even try; considering my lack of experience with Au, to attempt to fix it?

My experience has been with much cleaner recordings, made with min background noise, in a more controlled setting; with no airplanes.

Are there hobbyists out there who might find this clip an interesting challenge, or is this just too much to expect; even for the most experienced, to take on?

Ok, here's the noise I think may be unfixable; but I thought I'd ask.
