Hi Fist time on here Im hoping you can help
Im running up to date Adobe Audition cc and its linked to a Behringer X32 through USB, 32 in/ 32 out.
It records fine no issues at all, but I was trying to get the AA to Playback through a different sound card but I have just learned from here that that's not possible, so this is OK, but I have no idea how to Route AA so it will play back to the X32.
So how the inputs work is - Channel 1-9 is just Drums. When I play back a multi track session, how to I route this back to my X32, so I can hear it on my monitors? and can the same setting be use when playing back a Single track session?
Thanks for any help
Cheers
Glen

The easiest way is to assign a couple of the USB returns to the X32 from Audition's Master track output. So in your Audition Multitrack session go down to the Master track and from the drop down menu of the Output box select a Stereo pair of the X32's USB channels. You can select any pair but I would suggest either 1/2 or 17/18. The latter will automatically return the audio to X32 channels outside the normal first sixteen used for recording from.
Then at the X32 end you need to route those two selected Card USB Return channels to Aux 5/6. Aux 5/6 can then be selected as the Monitor out source in the Monitor set up page of X32 Edit. I'm afraid that I can't elaborate on the X32 routing at the moment since I don't have my X32 Rack connected up at the moment so can't see the precise USB Card return routing at the moment in the app.

Awe man!! RYclarke TOTAL STAR!!! Thanks for that, really appreciate that. I've used Adobe since it was Cool Edit, but I only use a single mic channel so everything was very easy to negotiate, but the X32 is a slightly different beast and if I had my old Analogue desk I could easily Route it out but the X32!?!? I was told if I had a 6 year old they would do it in a second
Thanks for all your help
Kindest
