Time Display not working on audition

The timer when I start recording a voice recording doesn't work like its supposed to instead of being like a normal timer that starts at 00:00:000 and goes up as I start recording it just stays frozen and slowly moves up or it dosnent move up at all. how can I fix this?

Have you checked to make sure that your computer's video driver is up to date? That's what causes most display issues. With some you have to do this quite frequently - nvidia, for instance, it's every few weeks.
