Track is imported to Audition but I have no sound or waves.

Hi there, I was using Audition to edit an interview. I saved it, left the laptop for a while and then came back, my laptop had died. Now I have the track added and its playing but I have no sound or wave tracks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you were editing in Waveform view and your laptop died, then anything you've done in the way of edits would be reflected only in the temp file directory, and would almost certainly be lost when it crashed. But since you saved it, you should be okay - are you saying that when you re-opened it, all you got was a file of the correct duration with nothing in it? Did you try re-opening the file after saving it and before the laptop died?
