Tracks jerking...

Hi. When I use the multitrack (32-bits, 88.2 kHz, various tracks) on a Macbook Pro 15 laptop (OS Mojave) the tracks jerk when selected and moved ... something that makes any precise movement with the track pad impossible. Any suggestions? With the other computer (and older one with OS Yosemite) it doesn't happen. One thing that drives me crazy ... I use Audition CS6 on both.

Also I experience silent tracks once I move them on the multitrack... only way to listen to them is to go again into the waveform and then again the multitrack... all the time this way... any help would be very appreciated!

I try to explain the problem better, indeed * the * problems.

1) On the Multitrack, once I move the tracks while editing them, they move in jerks - even if no "snap" is set. To have a maximum control of the movement (which otherwise happens in jerks) I have to zoom a lot ... I don't think it is a problem on my track-pad.

2) Once moved the tracks are no longer playing, so I have to return to the Waveform window and then return to the Multitrack ... only this way they start playing again ... very annoying and labourious!

You have to understand that this is a U2U forum, and not 'staffed' as such - it relies upon volunteers and we are not available 24hrs a day. Also very few of us use Macs...

Generally when you get that sort of jerking, it's because your video driver needs updating. Have you investigated that as a possibility?
