Transferring Adobe Audition To Flash Drive

Hello I would like to know if anyone knows if I can transfer the adobe audition onto a flash drive? I have a virus on my laptop and I want to do a hard reset to remove it but I don't want to erase the program. Is there a way that I can export it without risking erasing the file because I have a lot of music stored onto it and I would hate to lose any of that information.

Audition isn't just a file - it's an installation that makes changes, and has links into, a lot of your system. And as such it's simply not possible to run it as a standalone application from a flash drive. The other thing to note is that your music isn't 'stored' in Audition as such, but on the drive itself. Your best, and possibly only bet is to locate the music files on your disk, store those on the flash drive, and start over with a clean installation, including Audition. You haven't said which version you are using, but if it's any of the later ones, reinstalling via the CC app is easy.

You might want to try to save your preferences file for Audition, but if you have a drive with a virus, it's probably better not to, and start over with a clean installation, as asic preferences are easy to re-establish.

I have the CS6 version. Ok if I delete it then reinstall it will I have to pay for it again? Or will it allow me to log right back on it? Since I already have & account associated with it.

No you do not have to pay again. It should work OK from a new installation since it is already registered with Adobe and activated.
