Transitions clunking

Hello Chums,

I seem to have an issue with Audition where all the transtions/mixes in my mulltitracks are clunking, clicking, popping on clips where FX have been applied.

When I check the clips themselves they seem to be clean.

This issue developed yesterday and I am in the middle of delivering a load of work. I have rebooted the system, clear cashes and done all the usual house keeping.

My plan at the moment is to export all tracks in the mix to Premier and make final edits there, but this has me foxed. Anyone got any tips?

Thanks

I should add that this is not happening on all transitions in all files. So I am thinking corrupt project files or some such?

Last night when the issue appeared on the final project of the day the export of the final TX master track mixdown was clean. This morning, I tired that trick and the digial glitch spotted on the first clip in the mix came through in the export.

Am resorting to 'high level fudging' to to hit the deadline, but would be easier with out all this.

Continuing my public self-diagnosis. One of the issues seems to be that the origianl recordings were often (but not exclusively) MP3s so I am gettign a lot of digital artefacts...probably half the issue...

Yes, I have tried this. Does not seem to make much discernable difference. Presumably it is undoable if you remove the fx and re-render?

This current batch of projects have all come to me in Logic. I am less familioar with that playform so I have exported all the tracks as WAVS (with any fx turned off) and I an now working on them in Audition. Maybe I need to revert back to Logic on future projects because this issue is pretty rubbish.

The culprits in the singal chain appear to be my CrumplePop Echo & Pop removers. I have tried replacing with Audition's own 'De Reverb", but it is not much better.

With just EQ & Compression on the track there is no issue.
