Hello folks,
I have a UMC404HD (4 I/O's), and I'm recording a podcast with 3 people in the room with another person chatting through Discord as the 4th cohost. I have Voicemeeter Potato and Virtual Audio Cables. I'm just trying to figure out how to record all of them as separate channels in Audition.
Thank you

You'll want to get each host onto seperate tracks. Not many mixers allow for this however the Soundcraft Signature 12 MTK and new TASCAM Model 12 do allow for splitting of audio tracks in Adobe Audition.
If the UMC404HD allows this you'll find the option in Multitrack view. Just drop down the input on each track and select the different channels for each of the 3 people in the room and the person on Discord.
If you're using software to create virtual audio devices you may be able to do the same this way but better to try with the hardware first.

Thanks Mike! Yea, my UMC404HD allows for splitting. I have figured that part out. I just don't know how to add Discord onto a track when I already have it set up through my audio hardware. I have Voicemeeter and a virtual audio cable, but I was trying to strictly have 3 channels from the interface and 1 channel with Discord. I just don't know how to add Discord chat into the tracks. I don't see that input option? Sorry if this is confusing.
