Using text-to-voice to create audiobook

I was thinking of putting my chapter files of an audiobook together and then putting it on ACX, but I noticed that ACX does not allow text-to-voice. What options do I have for marketing such a book?

Have you wondered why ACX doesn't allow this? There is more than one reason - firstly, all of the voices you can obtain have copyright restrictions on them, which means that for any sort of application like this, you'd need to purchase a licence. But the main reason that they don't is that an entire book read out in the same monotonous voice would quickly drive listeners round the bend. If you are going to do any form of audiobook, you need a real live narrator. Without one you don't really have any realistic options, I'm afraid.
