I'm using Audition CS6 on both a Windows 8.1 laptop and a Windows 7 tower (with UAD cards). I'm considering buying the UAD Signature Edition UAD-for-all plugins package to use with my laptop as no hardware is required. It's a good price right now.
Any problem with installing these in Audition?
Much thanks.

If you go to this page on the UAD website you will read this very important statement:
UADx plug-ins are 64-bit only. 32-bit DAW applications are incompatible
Audition CS6 is 32 bit only!
And I also see that UAD themselves say that at least Windows 10, 64 bit, is required as the OS.

Thanks for this info. I guess that squashes my plan. The Win 8.1 operating system is 64-bit but from what you're saying it still won't work with CS6. I have a Win 10 laptop but has no DAW installed.
If I get a UAD Apollo with plugins, that should work with CS6, right?

PS - I am already using UAD plugins with CS6 as I have two UAD cards installed.

Thank you for alerting me to this. I've decided to get Audition CC going on my Windows 10 laptop, and buy an Apollo and all those plugins before the sale ends. Then I'll have 14 days to decide. It'll be good. I'm hoping it'll be easy to get them working in Audition.
Do you know if I can open CC sessions into CS6 and vice versa? That would be super.
