I just upgraded to Audition 25 but there are only 2 languages available for the text to speech function - English US & English UK. No gender or voice styles except one.
I know this is a very popular issue, so why is it so difficult to get a voice pack added / plugged in? Ive looked all over online and adding the voice pack via MS dosent work.
I only really upgraded so I could use the TTS feature, but it seems I've wasted my time and money.
Does anybody have a solution? Im only interested in english UK genders and voices.
Thanks

Audition simply leverages the TTS features of your OS, so additional voices need to be added at the system level.

Hi Rag & Bone - yes I understand that having read other posts, but I have tried downloading a language pack to test via narrator but no options appear in the options box in Audition - apart from the fixed 2 that are already there and even those two dont have any gender or voice options, which I would have thought would have been included at the very least as a basic option set?
Am I missing something or doing somethig wrong? Do I need to do something else to make Audition recognise and add new languages and voices?
Im only interested in English UK language, but a choice of gender and voice styles is needed.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Yeah, that’s been a frustration for me too.
If you’re looking for better English UK voices (with gender/style options), I’d suggest trying audiomodify.
It’s online and has more natural-sounding options than what Audition currently offers.
