VST3 and VST Plugins aren't showing up after computer upgrade. M1 iMac

I upgraded my iMac from a 2012 base model to a new M1 iMac.  I reinstalled Audition and now most of my 3rd party VST and VST3 plugins won't show up.  I have checked and re-checked all the pathways and still can't seem to resolve the issue.  Also, my VST3 are now showing as AU...and not working properly.

The VST3 plug-ins are installed on my new iMac, but they will NOT register in the plug-in scan as VST3 on Adobe Audition.  I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Chances are that these are 32-bit plugins you're trying to reuse. On their own, they won't work with the latest version of Audition, which is 64-bit, and natively only uses 64-bit plugins. You'll either need Bridge software, or update your old ones to 64-bit versions, I'm afraid.

But the plug ins work on my other iMac which has the same version of Audition and exact same plugins.

I'm wondering if this is a BigSur issue.
