What is recommended for I/o buffer size and sample rate in hardware settings to process audio with a focusrite interface. I process audio mostly with 48000 hz 32 bit files. started having problems with V13.

It's not really down to the Focusrite, it's down to your computer and how fast it processes data. And we haven't got the faintest idea what your computer is! Normally you just increase the buffer size until your problem (usually broken up audio) goes away reliably.

What is the standard default setting. I will reset it to that.

There is no such thing as the standard default setting.

As SteveG said, it dpeneds on your computer and its hardware.  You haven't actually said whether it is a PC or a Mac at the moment.
