Question

Why Adobe Audition doesn't have the feature to search for plugins by name?

Hello everyone

While I work on multitrack I need to insert plugins for each track of course. But unlike other DAWs such as Cubase or FL Studio, Adobe Audition doesn't have the feature to search for plugins by name, but instead have to scroll to go to the plugin you want to use (please check my screenshot).

I have a ton of plugins so that it takes a long of time to scroll to which I need because sometimes it's at the bottom of the list.

Why don't we have a textbox where we can type "reverb" and the results will show all the plugins that have "reverb" in their name (please check my screenshot from FL Studio).

I think this is the basic functionality required to enhance the UX of Adobe Audition.

Thank you.

I keep thinking this too. I've got loads of plugins and searching by name would be so much quicker.

@R Neil Haugen @Ann Bens

Do you have any idea about this?

Thanks.

This isn't really the place to put a feature request, as the developers won't see it. You would be better off posting it here in the user-voice feedback pages.
