Working between Audition and Premiere Question

I'm working on the audio for a film project. The film editor is in another town. She is sending me a .prproj file. When I go to open it in Audition it shows the edits but there are no attached files. I'm assuming this is doable but how? Do we need to set up some kind of dropbox or ftp site?

Yes - you have the session information, but none of the content!

Is there a recommendation for setting that up?

Not really. I use Dropbox for moving stuff about, but you get some free space (1 TB it says here) from Adobe with a CC subscription, so you could use that, I suppose. The only thing you have to watch out for (and this is one reason that I like Dropbox, because it's inherent) is that you should always work from the local copy of the file, and not try to save anything back to the cloud directly - that invariably fails, because really, the connection is about as reliable for most people as a piece of wet string. So if you want to send stuff back, do it as a file transfer from your machine, rather than as a direct cloud save. And obviously, don't trust the single copy of anything to any cloud storage!

If you use CC file transfer remember there is a limit to each file size, I think 5Gb, as well as a total CC storage size.
