Is there a way for Audition to read the track names from a Zoom F6 Polywav file.

I don't know, Richard. But if you post a short file with some in, then I'll investigate...

For me, Audition reads the track names assigned on the F6 without any intervention.

For example, My Track 1 is called "KathLav", Track 2 is JohnLav" and that's what I see in Audition. What are you seeing?

I'm using the latest Audition and version 2 of the F6 firmware, but I'm pretty sure it's always worked that way for me.

I'm on Mac OS if that makes a difference.

I can get the names in the ixml metadata:

But I can't see an option to display it either in the Waveform or the Multitrack view.

Hmm...I get the track names by default in both views:

Well, I don't know. I never place the polywav onto a track, I always place each track individually. Don't know if that makes a difference. Maybe I'm just lucky? Or, could it be an option in the F6 that I have set differently? I'm kind of stumped.
