Zoom H6 Audition Audi Hardware Device Class " ASIO" NOT WORKING..

Hello Everyone.

I was told that I need to install two updates from Zoom in order to have the Audio Recording to work correctly. The Updates are As Follow:

H_and_F-Series_ASIO, and H_and_F-Series_Multi Track_ASIO.

I have already downloaded these files and Installed them. I am a PC User, and I noticed Audition Works If I am using Device Class: MME, Not ASIO.

Also, I noticed, If I use any other Microphone except the 2 Microphones that came with Zoom H-6, I can not record to Audition or any other programs. I also have the MixPre-6 II, But I can use any Micrephoe and It works

Please let me know what to do.

Thank you very much.

I think there is a big problem with those ZOOM ASIO drivers!

I have the ZOOM H2n which used to work as an audio interface to Audition, using an earlier driver, which I no longer have.  With the drivers you list I cannot get Audition to record from the ZOOM unit.

think I remember seeing posts to the forum saying the same thing, albeit from quite some time (?years?) ago.

It's true - we never did figure out exactly what was going on with the Zoom drivers - except that you had to be really careful which one you installed. I don't think that the H4n, for instance, benefited from any of them!

Dear SteveG_Audio Masters.

I called the Zoom Tech Support, and they told me It's better to use the ASIO Drivers. They could not figure out why it is not working. So far it is working ok with MME, Not ASIO.  If I use any other Microphone except the 2 Microphones that came with Zoom H-6, I can record Internally. but, I can not record Externally to Audition or any other programs. For example, If I attach my Rode NT4+ Mic to Zoom, I can not record Externally.

Thanks.
