Multitrack Marker Move with Cut/Insert

I am editing podcasts and it's great to have markers and even be able to export them to use with tools like Forecast.app to make chapters in the final M4A or MP3 file.

The problem is, I have to add the intro and outro after editing the whole episode. Ofcourse then, all the markers are off by however much I insert in the beginning.

I have yet to find a way to make all the markers move that far (and made myself a script to export, add or remove those minutes/seconds from teh markers, and import the new markers).

I think moving all markers by a certain amount should be default possible in Audition.

Thanks 💪.

I have the same problem with markers, when editing podcasts. I would love if markers could be set for the timeline as well as for single tracks, like in Premiere Pro, where they travel with the clip.

Agreed, markers for podcasts need to move with clips. I often create 10-minute summary episodes of Podcasts for LinkedIn and as the names don't move with the clips it creates 2 problems:

1) You can't add the duration of all clips across one track to know whether you are at/near the 10-minute mark or whatever your time target is.
2) Once you have moved stuff you don't need to the tracks below, then manually added up the time of the remaining clips in your "working track", when you ripple delete all of the gaps, then you have to pray that you don't need to edit or move clips again because...
3) If you need to re-edit the short clip again, all of the markers, and the main original track are messed up
