Audition CC 2017 or 2018 BSOD Win10 with Intel x299 chipset
Hi everyone, and a Merry Christmas to you all!
I have just built a new computer after reading Puget Systems recommended the X299 intel processors, M.2 Samsung 960 drives etc.
Now the system is built, I've downloaded the latest Adobe Audition CC 2018 - and no matter what I do, the whole computer BSODs after something basic - like adding a NR effect. So, I downloaded the previous version. same problem. So I disabled Intel Turbo 3 in the BIOS - still same problem. So I ran a memory check - passed without problem/error. So I checked windows installation integrity with sfc (system checker tool). CPU is running cool (34 degrees C). Install is fresh and updated to latest windows update. BIOS is updated to latest Gigabyte BIOS (F3).
I can't get a log from event viewer as it doesn't show anything - because BSOD! Nothing gets logged!
So, here I am hoping there's something that I've missed - is there a setting in the Adobe software that I need to enable/disable?
Can anyone help?
