Automate playing and recording in Audition CC 2017 using command line

Hi Everybody,

I have requirement to automate the play and record of wave files in Adobe Audition CC 2017 using command line. Can anyone please help us to get through this. I am able to open a wave file using the Audition cc 2017 through command line but not sure how to play the wave file.

This is a pretty unusual request and not one I feel confident in handling.

I know it's not Command Line as your were requesting but Adobe have a specific forum (with a package of tools and formats) for people to use when writing 3rd party applications for use with Audition.  You can find it here:  Welcome to the Audition Developer and SDK forum

As I say, I know it's not Command Line but it might give you another option/way of achieving what you want to do.
