With each new release of Creative Cloud, Adobe takes advantage of the latest hardware and software advances to offer users best-in-class creative innovation.

Adobe Creative Cloud has moved to native Operating System (OS) support for Dolby Digital decoding (reading Dolby files).  Both Windows and OS X operating systems (Windows 8.1 or above and Mac OS X .11 or above) contain native support for Dolby decoding functions.

Adobe is no longer providing support for encoding (writing) Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus sound formats in the current and future releases of Creative Cloud.

These changes affect the following Creative Cloud products:

·       Adobe Premiere Pro CC

·       Adobe After Effects CC

·       Adobe Audition CC

·       Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC

·       Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic CC

·       Adobe Media Encoder CC

·       Adobe Prelude CC

·       Adobe Premiere Elements
