? Convert MP3 to Microsoft ADPCM ?

In Audition CC 2017, how do I convert an MP3 to Microsoft ADPCM?

Earlier, Adobe offered that option on the Save dropdown menu.

Now, where is that option located?

You will find it when you select 'libsndfile' as the Save As format. Then click on change against the Format Settings. Then choose Waveform Audio as the Format and ADPCM from the drop down Encoding menu list.

Ryclark

I still do not see the ADPCM Option.

This (see below) is the only option that comes close:

It gets a bit more complicated.

Select libsndfile as the Format as ryclark suggested.

However, then you have to go down to the "Format Settings" box.  Click on "Change" and another menu will pop up.

On this new menu, first click on "Format" and select "Waveform Audio"...probably at the top of the list.

Finally, on this same menu select "Encoding" and then pick "Microsoft 4 bit ADPCM"

Then Okay your way out of the menus and you should be there.

No 'however' though Bob. The OP is already into the Format Change box.

So you are almost there. But you need to choose 'Waveform Audio' as the format rather than 'Microsoft WAVEFORMATEX'. It's the first one in the Format drop down menu. Then you should be able to find 'ADPCM' at the bottom of the Encoding dropdown box.
