hey guys, i'm using MixPad and would like to get rid of it once and for all. The problem i'm having is that with MixPad, I have an intro that i'm playing before the main content. There are 2 parts to the intro... the music and the voice over. The way i have it working in mix pad is the music fades in then about 4 seconds in, it fades down in volume, not all the way and the voice over intro comes in. When the voice over finishes playing, the music fades back up to volume and then fades out. This is produced for a radio program so hopefully that makes sense. In mix pad, i just add points on a fade line and move the fade line up and down depending on the volume i need. How can i accomplish this in Audition? Below is an image of what i have in mix pad and you can see the fade line in red and what i mean. All your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

MixPad Fade Lines
1 Correct answer
In multitrack view select the clip and then then the menu option View > Show Clip Volume Envelopes
On the clip volume envelope line double click at the point you want to make a keyframe point and repeat for as many as you need whereever you need them and drag them (or right click to edit the volume value) to the poistion/volume you want.
You could also do the same thing by auto ducking - explained in the links below

Dude... that was AMAZING. Sadly... i read the first part and did all my keyframes manually, THEN i saw the auto-ducking. Could've saved myself some time for sure. Thanks! I'm sure i'll have more questions as i try to learn this software, but great to see there's an awesome community out there. Cheers!

Thanks for the shout out SuiteSpot!
AutoDucking is the best and it's easy to access in Essential Sound pannel when you're working in Multitrack view.
