When I record singing, or any audio, it changes the pitch and its lower than recorded.

How do I fix this?

Thankyou!

It might be your mic. Does your voice record differently in, say, a Skype call or Facetime than in the Adobe application you're using?

Are you using an external microphone or the one built into your computer?

Yes more technical info about your set up would help. PC or Mac? Operating System and Audition version? Type of mic and what audio interface are you using? How are you listening to the play back that sounds lower in pitch?

Usually this sort of problem may be caused by mismatched sample rates, typically recording at 48kHz and playing back at 44.1kHz.

For the sake of getting this person help, I'm going to assume he's using Audition and move the post there.

    Hi:

You posted your question in the non-technical Lounge forum, which is where you can connect with your peers for conversations that don't directly relate to product help and support.

Let us know what application you are asking about (for example, Photoshop, Premiere, Captivate), and we’ll move your question to the appropriate forum so that you can get the answer you are looking for.
